Title II.A

2008 -2009 School Year 

     The Title II.A program supports class size reduction and professional development in the Carl Junction R-1 School District.  The district uses Title II.A funds to support salary and benefits for three teachers, two in the Primary K-1 building and one in the Primary 2-3 building which add additional classes and help to reduce class sizes.

     Title II.A funds provide for professional development for the teaching staff in all academic areas.  Southwest Center school district dues are also paid with Title II.A money.  This allows the staff to participate in professional development offered through Southwest Center.
