Varsity Tutors Essay Contest
Amount: $200
Criteria: This award is a monthly essay contest. The winner is chosen by which essay receives the most votes. Eligibility is limited to individuals who are at least 16 years of age in their state of legal residence on or before their entry into the Promotion. Such individuals must be a legal resident of one of the fifty United States or the District of Columbia as of September 01, 2020. Please see official rules for further details. Joseph S. Rumbaugh Historical Oration Scholarship
Amount: $3000
Criteria: The contest to grades 9-12. The oration must be original, and not less than five minutes or more than six minutes. The subject shall deal with an event, personality, or document pertaining to the Revolutionary War and show a relationship to America today. The oration must be essentially the same as the submitted manuscript. Notes and props (including military uniforms) may not be used in the presentation. Click here to apply.

Leadership of Tomorrow Scholarship (University of Missouri - Columbia)

Criteria: Applicant must be an incoming male freshman student who will be attending the University of Missouri - Columbia, exhibit leadership potential, and academic achievement. Automotive Woman’s Association Scholarships
Amount: $2,500
Criteria: Scholarships are awarded to female, North American citizens, with a passion for a career or advancement in the automotive, mobility and its related industries. While AWAF members and family members are encouraged to apply for scholarships, we encourage applicants who are not affiliated with the organization to apply as well. To be eligible for a scholarship, applicants should be already accepted to or enrolled in an accredited collegiate program, with a 3.0 or higher GPA and a citizen within North America. We accept applications throughout the year.

This scholarship is open to students from all underrepresented backgrounds. Geoscience IDEA ScholarshipAmount: $5,000
Criteria: The Geoscience Inclusion, Diversity, Equality, and Accessibility (IDEA) Scholarship program encourages women from under-served communities to pursue an education and career in the Geosciences, or Earth Sciences. The scholarship provides up to $5000 in awards, annually, typically split between two or more undergraduate students, and matches them with AWG mentors to enhance their careers. It also includes a one-year, sponsored, AWG student membership.
