Amount: $2000
Criteria: Applicants must be student-athletes who plan to attend a 4-year college or university. Submit some basic info about your sport and GPA to qualify. This scholarship is open to graduating high school athletes.

Courage to Grow Scholarship
Amount: $500
Criteria: Applicants must explain in 250 words why they think they deserve the scholarship.
The award is open to high school juniors, high school seniors, and college students. Applicants must have a minimum 2.5 GPA.

Criteria: Graduating seniors continuing their education following graduation. There are 43 Endowments that Missouri students are eligible for. Students are highly encouraged to check out these scholarship opportunities. There is a $5.00 processing fee for each scholarship.

Golden Lion AwardAmount: Seven (7) $1,000 scholarships and one (1) $5,000 scholarship to MSSUCriteria: JR's & SR's who have shown leadership through volunteering may apply. Winners will also be featured on KODE-TV. See Mr. Neldeberg for more details and how to apply.Deadline: Beginning in September and ending in April, one Golden Lion Award will be given each month.

James "Rhio" O'Connor Scholarship Memorial Fund

Criteria: The award is open to all high school students.
Write a short essay (700-1500 words) addressing a prompt related to cancer treatment.

Midwest Student Exchange Program
Amount: Varies
Criteria: Applicants must currently live in Illinois, Indiana, Kansas, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Nebraska or North Dakota and wish to attend a participating school in one of these states outside their own. Other eligibility requirements vary depending on the state and school.

Amount: $3,000 for ACT scores of 31 and above; $1,000 for ACT score of 30
Criteria: This scholarship is dependent upon state funding as determined each summer after the governor has signed the appropriations bill. These amounts are subject to change.
