If school is closed due to weather, the first two days will count as snow days. Up to six more missed days will be made up using AMI (Alternative Methods of Instruction) days. If any additional changes to the school calendar are needed, we will notify families as soon as possible.CJ Fridays/Early Release 

Weekly early-out days on Friday are scheduled in this year’s calendar to allow teachers time to collaborate through the Professional Learning Communities (PLC) process. All Fridays are called “CJ Days,” where we ask all students and staff to wear red and white to show their Bulldog spirit. A portion of that day will allow time for staff to collaborate under the PLC model, which is one of the most powerful school improvement initiatives throughout the history of education. In grade-level and department groups, the teaching staff will focus on student learning and on maximizing student achievement. On Fridays, K-6 students will be released at 2:10 p.m., and students in Grades 7-12 will be released at 1:55 p.m.
