2^nd Grade

1. I can find fiction, nonfiction, and biographies in the library.
2. I can take care of my library books by being responsible, respectful and safe.
3. I can know the difference between fiction and nonfiction books.
4. I can find my library book by using the catalog picture search. 
5. I can use magazines, books and cds correctly.
6. I can use makerspace activities to create a finished product.
7. I can cooperate with other students in small groups.

3^rd  Grade

1. I can find materials in the library.
2. I can take care of my library books by being responsible, respectful and safe.
3. I can place fiction books into different genres.
4. I can find my library book by using the Destiny online catalog. 
5. I can use magazines, books, tablets, kindles, and cds correctly.
6. I can create a finished product using makerspace activities.
7. I can work and share in small groups.

Intermediate Library Media Center

I Can Statements

· I can demonstrate knowledge of the arrangement of materials in the Library Media Center.

· I can demonstrate appropriate behavior and etiquette of a proper Library user.

· I can identify various types and forms of Literature by listening, viewing, and reading for enjoyment.

· I can demonstrate knowledge of the Computerized Card Catalog and locate materials.

· I can identify various types of media literacy which are relevant to my needs.

7^th Grade  I Can Statements

PS 1  I Can demonstrate an understanding of the organization of the library using the Dewey Decimal System and Call Numbers within the library.

PS 2  I Can  properly use circulation and information retrieval resources such as the online card catalog and research resources.

PS 3  I Can conduct research using a variety of library resources.

PS 4  I Can read and critique a variety of reading resources for information, recreation and personal growth.

PS 5  I Can create and share a multi-media product that promotes reading to an authentic audience. 

PS 6  I Can practice Digital Citizenship by following ethical and legal guidelines for gathering and using information by responsibly applying information, technology and media to learning.

PS 7  I Can practice Digital Citizenship by evaluating information for accuracy, validity, social and cultural context, and appropriateness for need.
