3/24 CJ Schools Update

To our CJ Students and Families
I know everyone is learning how to deal with the COVID-19 “social distancing” and we want to be a help and resource for you and our community. One way we can do that is to continue providing enrichment/learning resources to our students. Our principals and teachers are working diligently to prepare enrichment activities and we are planning to post specific enrichment activities beginning Monday, March 30.

We will post Primary K-3 resources through our district’s website and Grades 4-12 through our Canvas platform. This provides you one location where you and your child can go each day to access the enrichment activities teachers have prepared.
In the meantime, our teachers will be reaching out to you and your children during this week to help encourage your students and check on your well-being. For right now, we are encouraging families to:
• Update your email account with your child’s school if you have not received any emails from your child’s building principal or secretaries.
• Create a plan for your child’s day, which can help reduce stress and anxiety.
• Focus on enrichment and learning in reasonable increments.
• Find a way to make some special memories and enjoy quality time together.

We want to help you in any way we can, so contact us by calling 417-649-7026 for questions. We will respond in a timely manner.

Take care and stay safe. I know this is a tough time right now, but we WILL get back to normal!

Take Care!
Dr. Kathy Tackett
