Class of 2022 honors

The Carl Junction Class of 2022 will graduate 232 strong on Friday, May 20, at the Leggett & Platt Center on the campus of Missouri Southern State University at 7 pm.

On Wednesday, May 18, Baccalaureate at the Jerry B. Stark Performing Arts Center beginning at 6 pm. Senior Awards Night will follow Baccalaureate at 6:45 pm.

Ten students will share Valedictorian honors – Kellen Badgley, Lauren Besperat, Maggie Brown, Lauren Burgess, Rachel Jones, Lillian Petry, Allee Rice, Calvin Richins, Autumn Sewell, and Luke Whitney. Tiffany Pham is the Salutatorian.

Thirteen more students will be honored as the Top 10% - Rachel Case, Edwards Emanuel, Jamie Fabozzi, Meagan Greenlee, Brynn Hoodenpyle, Ellie Lawson, Emerson Lundien, Dalton Mills, Jackson Sargent, Addison Schmitz, Zechariah Suiter, Bailey Thompson, and Jordan Woodruff.

“The students of the CJHS class of 2022 have distinguished themselves as an outstanding group of students,” said High School Principal Theresa Wilson. “They have excelled in academics, athletics, and service to others. Through the challenges of the past two years, they have persevered and succeeded, demonstrating that it is possible to overcome adversity while remaining gracious, generous, and compassionate toward others. They embody the Carl Junction High School tradition of excellence.”
