Wellness Break Resources

  • Hello K/1 Families!
We hope this message finds you and your family safe and healthy. We wanted to let you know
that while the K/1 building is closed, we are still available for students and families. Parents can
reach us via email, Nichole Whitehead and Tandy Dickens. We will check emails during
regular school hours, Monday-Friday. We also have provided a list of community resources and
mental health resources that can be located by clicking here: Community Resources and Mental Health Resources.

The next several weeks may be a confusing time for your children. However, one of the simplest
things you can do is to limit their exposure to any type of media regarding this. You can find
some other helpful tips on this link.

Our hope is that we will all be together again soon but until then we hope to stay in touch with
you and your students via email, phone, and through their classroom teacher’s Zoom
Conferences. We plan to attend these from time to time.

    Yours in Education,
Nicole Whitehead and Tandy Dickens, School Counselors

**Please note: Counselors and Counseling Department do not maintain 24-hour access to email
accounts. In the event of a counseling emergency, please call 911 or the Ozark Center Crisis
    Hotline at 417-347-7720.”
