  • Sharp chosen for Outstanding Teacher Honor

    Pittsburg State University named Carl Junction High School Mathematics Teacher Sherry Sharp as the 2017 Outstanding Secondary Mathematics Teacher of the Year. Sharp has 21 years of experience of teaching Mathematics in the area. She has been teaching at Carl Junction High School since 1998 and at Pittsburg State University since 2000. Currently Mrs. Sharp teaches Honors Algebra II and Dual Credit College Algebra at CJHS.

  • Wilson named Missouri Assistant Principal of the Year

    The Missouri Association of Secondary School Principals (MoASSP) has selected Theresa Wilson, assistant principal at Carl Junction High School, as the 2017 Missouri Assistant Principal of the Year. Mrs. Wilson was awarded the recognition based on her impact in the areas of collaborative leadership; curriculum, instruction and assessment; and her personalization of the learning environment.
