    🌻 Welcome Back!
    A message from Mr. Stevenson welcomes students and families to the new school year, highlighting a focus on growth goals in English Language Arts, Mathematics, and the development of "Durable Skills" (compassion, critical thinking, academic behaviors, and life skills). A parent letter will be sent home with more info. Benchmark assessments in ELA and Math (i-Ready) will be conducted within the first three weeks of school. Mr. Stevenson expresses gratitude for family partnerships and looks forward to a successful year.

    📋 Nurse News
    If a student needs medication during the school year (daily or occasionally), a signed form and original container are required. Nurse Whitney Herbst will be available during Open House.

    🎉 Block Party

    • Who: Grades K–6

    • What: Back to school party with food and community vendors

    • When: Tuesday, August 12th, 4:30–7:30 pm

    • Where: On Broadway

    🏫 Open House

    • Date: Tuesday, August 12th

    • Time: 5:00–7:00 pm

    • Format: Parents will sign up for a 15-minute slot via Signup Genius (link sent by teacher)

    🚨 Important Reminder
    Each returning student received an email in June about online registration, which replaces the paper back-to-school forms. Parents are encouraged to complete it ASAP to ensure the school has up-to-date information.
