Weekly early out days on Friday are scheduled in this year’s calendar to allow teachers time to collaborate through the Professional Learning Communities (PLC) process.  All Fridays are called “CJ Days” where we ask all students and staff to wear red and white to show their Bulldog spirit.  A portion of that day will allow time for staff to collaborate under the PLC model, which is one of the most powerful school improvement initiatives throughout the history of education.  In grade level and department groups, the teaching staff will focus on student learning and how to maximize student achievement.  On Fridays this year, K-6 students will be released at 2:10 p.m. and students in Grades 7-12 will be released at1:50 p.m.
