INTRODUCTION

The Carl Junction School District is accepting bids for Dell Chromebooks, protective cases, and Google Chrome education management service licenses for the Carl Junction School District in Carl Junction, MO. To receive consideration, the proposal must meet the requirements described in this document.  Specific product descriptions and quantities are listed below.

OVERVIEW

The District is located in Carl Junction, MO in southwest Missouri and consists of six school buildings serving 3,500 students and 500 staff. The District has an ongoing one-to-one program using Chromebooks in grades second through twelfth. The proposal is to replace the obsolete student computing devices with current, supported ChromeOS devices. The District does not guarantee any quantities will be purchased as a result of this invitation to bid.

PRODUCTS AND SERVICES

Vendors are encouraged to clarify any questions regarding products or services prior to bidding. The proposal is to include all required hardware, software, cabling, and accessories to comprise a complete solution. Please include the following items with the proposal: a date for pricing expiration and anticipated product availability.

Vendors may submit a bid for hardware (option 1), protective cases (option 2), or both. Vendors may submit multiple bids for alternate configurations.

The sealed bid must include the vendor’s name, address, phone number, and name of the person submitting the bid. The bid is to be submitted by an authorized representative who has the authority to enter into a contract with the School District on behalf of the bidder.

RIGHT TO REJECT PROPOSALS

The Carl Junction R-1 School District reserves the right to waive technicalities or to modify the scope and specifications of the project as necessary, including but not limited to adding, changing, or deleting equipment, locations, and services. The Carl Junction R-1 School District reserves the right to reject any or all bids and to accept any proposal deemed to be in the best interest of the School District.
