ALGEBRA II
This course does not reflect traditional Algebra II pacing and content depth and does not serve as a prerequisite for any college-level Algebra courses. Students will solve and/or evaluate various types of functions (including linear, quadratic, polynomial, and rational), solve systems of equations, word problems, simplify exponents and radicals, and investigate conic systems. Students will be placed in this class upon analysis of assessment data and math department/counselor/administrative approval. This class is NOT open for enrollment. Enrollment by referral only. Students who pass this course have the option to enroll in Algebra 2 Honors or Dual Credit Elementary Statistics the following year. This course will serve as a prerequisite for Elementary Statistics/Dual Credit Elementary Statistics. (One-credit, one-year course for grades 10-12.) Prerequisite: Algebra I & Geometry
