• ENVIRONMENTAL SCIENCE

    Students will investigate the interactions of organisms and their environment. In the course of their investigations, students will gain an understanding of the effects of human activities on nutrient cycles, pollution sources, habitat destruction, future energy needs, and population variations. (One-half credit, one-semester elective for grades 10-12) All sophomores must be enrolled in Chemistry, Biology, or Earth & Space Science/Environmental Science. THIS COURSE MAY NOT BE ACCEPTED AS A SCIENCE CREDIT TOWARD ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS FOR SOME UNIVERSITIES/COLLEGES.
