• WORLD STUDIES
     
    World Studies is an in-depth study of the chronological events of the world beginning with the early civilizations through contemporary history. Knowledge addresses significant events, people, ideas, trends, and conflicts, with concern for causes, consequences, and relationships across time and place as they relate to American government and U.S. history. This course is designed to provide a comprehensive review of major world events that helped shape modern society. Focus will enable students to gain sensitivity to global cultures. Students will become independent thinkers and problem solvers. (One credit, one-year requirement for grade 9.)
