• EARTH & SPACE SCIENCE

    Earth Science is a laboratory course which investigates the Earth, its history, materials, properties, processes, and place in the universe. Covered topics include, but are not limited to the following: the internal and external sources of Earth’s energy, the formation of its minerals and rocks, the changes of its surface and interior, plate tectonics, meteorology, oceanography, and astronomy. (One-semester, one-half credit course for grades 10-12) All sophomores must be enrolled in Chemistry, Biology, or Earth & Space Science/Environmental Science.
