OUTDOOR PURSUITS
This is a dynamic course designed to give students the opportunity to experience and learn about a variety of different outdoor activities available in our local community and environment. Students will learn activities such as fire starting skills, building shelters, map and compass, target shooting sports, hiking, and knot tying. Students will be OUTSIDE in various weather conditions, and it is the students' responsibility to remember extra clothes, shoes, sunscreen, water, etc. Fee $20 ($10 per semester) to cover disposable supplies used throughout class. (One-year, one-credit or one-semester, one-half credit for grades 10-12.) This course cannot be repeated for credit.
