• GRAPHIC DESIGN & MARKETING

    Effective document creation is essential in promoting business. Following design principles will ensure the correct message is relayed to the audience as well as effective use of images and layout in the design process. This class will develop proficiency in using graphic arts/desktop publishing software to create a variety of business publications for digital print used in advertising and marketing. Students will learn to match their font style in their documents to their audience, work together as a team and communicate about their designs. Students will create a portfolio so that they can share their work outside the classroom with industry and professionals in graphic design. (one-half credit, one-semester practical art for grades 9-12)
