• NUTRITION & WELLNESS

    This course gives students an opportunity to gain knowledge of food and nutrition that can be used in everyday life. It provides an orientation to kitchen equipment and food preparation techniques that will enable students to work successfully in a kitchen.  Students will also gain knowledge on nutrition basics, meal planning, and how to purchase and prepare food that is safe and sanitary. Lab fee: $10 (one-half credit, one-semester practical art for grades 10-12)
