AGRICULTURE CONSTRUCTION-METALS
This course will include instruction in basic tool safety, construction mathematics, welding tools, and hand/power tool use. Students will spend one semester focusing on the basics of welding and fabrication. The second semester students will be required to have a project they wish to build. Projects may include--but are not limited to small welding projects, hay feeders, trailers, firepits, deer stands, various types of fencing panels. Students who take this course must pay a $30 fee that will cover the cost of blades, equipment repair, sanding belts, welding expendables, and coupon metal for introductory welding. (one-credit, one-year practical art for grades 9-12)
