• LANGUAGE ARTS IV: TECHNICAL WRITING

     

    The emphasis in this semester will be on reading, writing, and communication skills useful on the job and in everyday life. Students will be evaluated by quizzes and tests, in-class discussion, teacher assessments of individual and group work, presentations, and writing assignments. The bulk of the semester is spent creating and analyzing career and technical communication in various formats. NCAA will not accept this class for certification. It is important to get specific information from the NCAA website. This course CAN be taken in addition to CPLAIV, DC Comp, or APLAIV. (One-semester, one-half language arts credit for grade 12)
