• ADVANCED CHILD DEVELOPMENT

    This instructional program provides advanced study in child development and guidance, including the physical, social, and intellectual development of children. Actual experience in supervising children provides the opportunity to improve parenting skills, explore careers related to child development, and identify general employment skills. (One-half credit, one-semester practical art or one-credit, one full-year practical art for grades 11-12) Prerequisite: Child Development, Care and Guidance and required application process. Students must have their own transportation to enroll in this class.  This course may be repeated for credit with teacher permission only.
