• LIBRARY SCIENCE
    This course is for students who have an interest in using and/or working in library media centers and other information facilities. Students will study appropriate materials to learn library science vocabulary and techniques. The major emphasis, however, will be the laboratory experience gained while working in one of the campus media centers. Students may enter and leave this class at semester. Each student must hold a valid driver’s license before joining the course and have reliable access to a personal vehicle during the school day, as independent travel to the elementary school campuses is required. (One-half-credit, one-semester or one-credit, one-year practical art for grades 11-12.) Prerequisite: Approval by high school librarian required for enrollment. Please complete the application below. This course may be repeated once for credit.
