	LIBRARY SCIENCEThis course is for students who have an interest in using and/or working in library media centers and other information facilities. Students will study appropriate materials to learn library science vocabulary and techniques. The major emphasis, however, will be the laboratory experience gained while working in one of the campus media centers. Students may enter and leave this class at semester. Each student must be able to provide his/her own transportation to one of the elementary libraries during the course of the semester. (One-half-credit, one-semester or one-credit, one-year practical art for grades 11-12.) Prerequisite: Approval by high school librarian required for enrollment. Please complete the application below. This course may be repeated once for credit.
