• COMMUNITY CONNECTED LEADERSHIP

    In this course students will develop communication and leadership skills necessary for real-world success based on their work through a client-connected project. This course will be a mix of classroom instruction and community connected work. Students will work with a community organization to identify and solve a problem using the design thinking process. This year-long course allows students to refine research, writing, and problem-solving skills, along with a demonstration of interpersonal and public communication and professionalism. (One credit, one year practical art for grades 9-12)  Prerequisite:  Personal transportation to client locations will be required. This course can be repeated for credit.
